What: Tales from Behind the Wood - Vol. 2

Well hello again everyone. This week I want to share a funny story that actually happened to me. The names in the story are fictional but the events are one hundred percent true!!

This particular story takes place at a club I worked at in Japan. If you haven't been to this beautiful country, you have to know one thing, the Japanese love to party.

It was a Friday evening and this group comes in celebrating a gentlemen's birthday. It looks as though they have been drinking all day, but were still having a great time. Some guests I used to get in the club spoke some broken English, however this group was all Japanese, all the time (so I thought). They order a round of drinks and shots, and as customary a few shots of Tequila for the birthday boy. They are drinking and boozing all night, when they start screaming Japanese sayings at me. I picked up certain words and phrases, and put together that they wanted a show. I am a performance bartender. Minutes later here I am flipping bottles, pouring drinks on my head, and various body parts, when the birthday boy jumps onto the bar, and proceeds to strip down completely buck naked in about ten seconds. Turns out HE wanted to do a show (lost in translation I guess.) The next half an hour was a complete blur. Just as quick as he jumped on the bar, two friends jumped up, and sure as shit, stripped down to absolutely nothing. There are 2 guys and a girl up there now, completely naked dancing, drinking, making out, grinding, you name it they are doing it!

Here is where things get interesting!  They demand I come on the bar to join them. I look over to a couple of co-workers and they give the nod yes. So up I go, and well u can imagine what comes next. I get all the down to my boxers, and they want me to flip some bottles. So picture this, three naked people, me in my boxers flipping three bottles. The people in the bar are going crazy, its packed. After I finish performing I jump down, and start serving again, the remainder of the night in just my boxers. The group is still on the bar, and after about another 10 minutes of dancing up there, they get down, but don't get dressed, they leave, and have left their clothes in the club.

I was finishing up at the end of the night, which was around 5am, and started to walk out down the street. Sure as hell there is the group swimming in this little river that goes up and down the street. Yes, they are still completely nude. I go back inside and grab the clothes that they had left in the club, and place them in an area close to where they were. This is what they said, in perfect English "thank you very much would you like to come for a swim?" I figured they didn't speak any English at all!!  I respond with "you are welcome." They respond back "I don't think you can do this in North America." At that point, two police officers walk by, and the only reaction they had was to shake their head, smile, and walk on by.... I said my goodbyes, and walk back home...

A night to remember for sure.
